本届艺术节的举办方式，根据新冠疫情状况略作调整。艺术节将由三个部分构成：

1.现场创作 将有15位中国艺术家和2位外国艺术家来到成都，现场实施作品。

2.作品视频播映 艺术节期间，将在城厢古镇的公共空间放置液晶大屏幕，播放15位外国艺术家的行为作品视频。

3.UP-ON向上1-7届文献展 将于11月22日在麓山美术馆开幕。

11月的第八届UP-ON向上国际现场艺术节

The 8th UP-ON International Live Art Festival, after the recruitment channel was opened, received a total of 77 artists' application materials. The list of selected candidates has been confirmed. 

The method of holding the UP-ON International Live Art Festival will be slightly adjusted according to the situation of the COVID-19 . The festival will consist of three parts:

1.There will be 16 Chinese artists and 2 foreign artists coming to Chengdu to implement works on site.

2.During the festival, large LCD screens will be placed in the public space of Chengxiang Ancient Town to show videos of performance works by 15 foreign artists.

3.UP-ON upwards 1-7th document exhibition. It will open at Luxehills Art Museum on November 22.

Thank you guys for your warm attention and support during the recruitment period, we look forward to gathering together in Chengdu to participate in the UP-ON International Live Art Festival in October. 

2020年8月15-31日，UP-ON向上国际现场艺术节在保持国外艺术家采用邀请制的同时，开启了国内艺术家参与的公开招募通道。招募的方式使艺术节拓宽了联络艺术家的渠道，也让更多有热情的艺术家有了参与艺术节的机会。随着UP-ON向上的持续举办，艺术节得到了更多的机构和朋友的理解和支持，也吸引了更多的小伙伴积极参与到了艺术节的组织工作中来。

From August 15 to 31, 2020,UP-ON While maintaining the invitation for foreign artists，we also started an open recruitment channel for our domestic artists to participate. The recruitment method enabled the festival to broaden the channels for understanding the artists and also to make Many passionate artists have the opportunity to participate in the festival. With the continuous holding of the UP-ON International Live Art Festival, the festival has been understood and supported by more institutions and friends, and more young people have actively participated in the organization of the festival.

自2008年至今，UP-ON向上国际现场艺术节已举办七届，致力于在中国成都搭建国际水准的现场艺术交流平台，累计有86位国外和127位国内艺术家参与其中。在艺术节期间，除了每位艺术家的现场创作之外，还会在多所大学和美术馆举办主题讲座和工作坊，为公众和院校提供了重要的教育资源。

UP-ON is an International Live Art Festival that takes place in Chengdu, China. Since 2008, UP-ON has been held for seven times. It is committed to building an international level live art exchange platform in Chengdu, China, a total of 86 foreign and 127 domestic artists have participated. In doing so, we not only offer an exchange between foreign and Chinese artists,During the festival, apart from the on-site creation of each artist, theme lectures and workshops will be held at various universities and galleries, providing an important educational resource for the public and institutions.
